From professional yacht management both in, or out of the water to Project management, shrink wrapping your vessel over the storage season, or de-commissioning your vessel before haul out our service department are dedicated to helping you spend more days cruising the beautiful British Virgin Islands and less days on maintenance, and worrying about your boat from another continent. After all wouldn't you rather just step on the boat and relax than spend precious days wrestling a whole laundry list of tasks?
Dry land yacht management
Our crew can go aboard your vessel during the haul out period and charge batteries, install pest control measures, air out the cabins, salon, and upholstery, Keep the bilges dry, and even run a de-humidifier if needs be. This service is charged at one hundred dollars per visit.
In water management
If you decide to leave your vessel in the water between cruising trips our crew will perform checks of the boats lines, fenders, bilges, shore power , and deck drainage. We can even arrange bottom cleaning if requested. Boats are checked at least every two days and our crew are available for e-mail updates if requested.
Project management
Hugely popular with non resident and resident boat owners alike, trusted contractors of every ilk are available to perform tasks as simple as changing the running light bulbs, to a major re-fit. Our on site engineers, electricians, and every other marine trade have been servicing cruisers and racers alike with timely and professional service since Nanny Cay became a world class resort and boat yard. From sourcing replacement parts to installing new systems our service department takes the hassle and time out of chasing after quotes and finding the best company at the best price.
De-commissioning, and re-commissioning services
Before or after the storage season our crew can ensure that your yacht is properly prepared for both. Removing canvas and flaking sails, tying down dinghies and drying out bilges, flushing out engines and installing pest control the list is endless. We know that the last few days before haul out can be rather taxing, and the first few days after storage are far better spent under full sail on the way to your favorite beach. Our team can have your yacht ready to step on or step off whatever your plans Priced at one hundred and twenty five dollars per hour, you can be safe in the knowledge that your yacht is being professionally cared for whatever time of year.
Heat shrink wrapping
The elements can wreak havoc with a yacht over the course of a few months, and re-finishing any kind of bright-work can be a costly and time consuming experience. New last year our heat shrink wrapping team offer exceptionally well ventilated heavy duty, recyclable polyethelene shrink wrapping which is perfectly tailored to fit any vessel regardless of size or design.
